From August to September of 1988, the Administration of Culture Relics Pretection of Handan Prefecture and some other units made a rescue excavation at a site tonorth of Hezhuang Village, Yongnian County, Hebei Province.Besides six cache pits of the Pre-Shang Culture, eight tombs of the Warring States, and one house foundation and one cache pit of the Han Dynasty, a large quantity of pottery vessels and stone tools were uncovered.
