汉语语境:
元代“ 女直”和“ 女真”之称为同一所指， “ 女直”之称当是对辽代叫法的沿袭。 元代文献中出现的“ 女直水达达” 、 “ 水达达女直”皆是指女真中的水达达部。 水达达之称源于金代的兀的改， 但元代水达达所指并不能等同于金代的兀的改。 水达达不能包括兀者、乞列迷、吉列迷等部族。
英语语境:
“Nuzhi” of Yuan dynasty was same with “Nuzhen” . The former one represented the descendants of Liao dynasty . “Nuzhishuidada” and “Shidadanuzhe”, from documents of Yuan period, referred the Shuidada tribes of Nuzhen ethnic. So - called Shidada originates from Wudigai of Jin dynasty, but does not equal to that of Yuan period. Shuidada does not include tribes of Wuzhe, qiliemi, jiliemi, etc .
