公元3世纪，东北西南部即有白种人部族，但他们是“自号鲜卑”并被中原人称为鲜卑的。这部分白种人出自被匈奴征服后被迫南迁的丁零人。匈奴西迁后，他们与匈奴余种一起加入到鲜卑族之中。东部鲜卑中的白种人主要有两个来源:一是公元1世纪随匈奴余种迁入辽东的丁零人，二是公元3世纪随慕容部东迁的丁零人。拓跋鲜卑中的白种人主要是其进入匈奴故地后与之杂居的丁零人。

英语语境:

There were white tribes in the southwest of Northeast China in the third century.These people were "Zihao Xianbei", which were called Xianbei by the people in central plains.These white people are Dingling People who were forced to migrate to the south after being conquered by the Huns.After the Huns migrated to the west, these people, together with the remnants of the Huns joined the Xianbei tribes.The white people in the east Xianbei had two origins : the Dingling people who migrated to Liaodong together with the remnants of the Huns in the first century and the Dingling people who migrated to the east with Murong tribes in the third century.The white people in Tuoba Xianbei tribe were those Dingling people, who mingled with them after they entered the region originally lived by the Huns.
