合葬是指两人及两人以上葬在同一个墓坑内的埋葬方式。合葬墓可分为两人、三人和四人合葬三种情况，又可区分为夫妻合葬和陪葬两类不同的性质。夫妻合葬墓的埋葬方法主要是一次葬和二次葬，一次合葬应该是女性先去世暂厝在别处，待男性去世后再合葬；二次合葬则是男性去世后先下葬，女性去世后再与男性合葬。

Joint burial tombs refer to the method of burying two or more than two deceased persons in the same pit. Such tombs can be divided into two-person, three-person and four-person joint burial practice. They can again be divided into husband-wife joint burial tombs and subordinate tombs. The burial practices of husband-wife tombs mainly include one-time burial and two-time burial. In the former case, the deceased wife was temporarily placed in a coffin in another place and buried with her husband after the latter passed away. In the latter case, the deceased husband was buried first and the wife was buried in the same tomb after she passed away.
