We makes an analysis of the four types of urban co mm unity's acculturation in ethnic areas: all acculturation and half acculturation, positive acculturation and negative acculturation, group acculturation and individual acculturation. It is pointed out in this paper that under the impact of urbanization, the visible boundary of national community will be broken gradually. However, because of the s elf-maintenance function of various ethnic inhabitants 'unique culture, various ethnic traditional culture will still maintain own characteristic, and maintains the centripetal and the cohesive forces of various communities.
