唐代西州奴婢及大牲畜的买卖，均须官府发给公验才算合法。唐以前的高昌王国奴婢买卖是否也要经官许可？由于只见有私契而未见到官府文券，通常认为不需经官。但吐鲁番阿斯塔那135号墓所出粟特文《高昌延寿十六年（639年）买女奴契》，却是件经官许可、钤盖官印的公验性的文券。

Was official permission also needed for the buying and selling of slave in Gaochang Kingdom before the Tang? Usually it was believed that official permission was not needed because no official certificate has been found except private contract. But a contract of buying female slave in the 16th year of Yanshou period of the Gaochang Kingdom in Sogdian alphabet discovered from cemetery No.135 of Astana graveyard in Turpan shows it is not true. This contract was imprinted with official seal.
