英语语境:

Egalitarianism reflects people's need for economic equality. It was influencing Russia in its long historical development. Egalitarianism and the Russian rural communities were closely related. Rural communities were the soil that gave rise to egalitarianism, and also the carrier that made possible the extension of egalitarianism. Meanwhile, the egalitarianism principle was in return the prerequisite for the long existence of rural communities.

中国在建国后由于受到平均主义的影响而长期推行较为平均主义的分配政策，即使在改革开放后精英主义悄然兴起和推行拉开收入差距的按劳分配政策，因而分配政策渐趋合理。但由于受到仍很浓重的平均主义的影响而难以确立起合法性，所以难以继续丰满，并且反而使非制度化的分配方式有机可乘，非国家的社会文化有所扩展并与国家体制和意识形态发生冲突。

After the founding of the PRC, under the impact of traditional equalitarian ideology, China had adopted a long-term distribution policy in favor of equalitarianism. After the reform and opening-up policy took effect, elitism has risen quietly and China began to promote the policy of uneven distribution of incomes according to work. Even then, being affected by equalitarian ideology, it is not easy to establish the validity of elitism and to sustain its growth, thus leading to the emergence of non-institutionalized distribution model and non-state social culture at odds with state system and state ideology.
