However, the research and application of water forms and water rules are almost blank. In order to make theplanning and design of modern water landscape have rules to follow, an instructive, reasonable designing method and principle will be offered by concluding and exploring water forms and water rules in traditional culture of geomancy andcombining with designing concept of water landscape in modern landscape, method ofChinese landscape gardening and water rules. Furthermore, this dissertation willunveil the logic of water forms and water rules in traditional geomancy.
