It has special characteristics in researching functions of language in Russian. During the process of researching functional communicational syntax two different schools have been formed. Qne is the academy of science school. The other is great school. Great school has been formed on the basis of long term teaching practices. In funtional communicational syntax, great school attaches importance to semantic space of language, and pay attention to research cognitive system and objectivity of language, and subjective characteristics of verbal embodiment. It also pays much attention to complexity and diversity of language.
