American agriculture had been a commercial one since it occurred. Affected by the agricultural commercialization of modern English and by the society law, American commercial agriculture occurred and grew increasingly during the colonial time. However, because of being restrained by many facts, especially by the natural conditions, there were different developing levels in different areas. Generally speaking, it could be divided into three distinctive production belts: New England, midland and southern colony.
