在实际的宗教生活中，制度化宗教与民俗宗教两者存在着密切的关系。民俗宗教还呈现出强大的文化借用能力，即便是无文字的少数民族社会也能够借助文化自信，在宗教实践中将制度化宗教的元素整合进自己的体系里，并付诸于自己的宗教实践。然而，目前许多有关宗教的研究不仅存在着极大的片面性，也割裂了同一时空下的制度化宗教与民俗宗教的联系，当然也无法解释人类多元性的宗教现象。

英语语境:

In the actual religious life, there is a close relationship between the institutionalized religion and folk religion. Folk religion also shows a strong cultural borrowing capacity, and even a non- literate ethnic minority society can rely on its cultural self- confidence to integrate some elements of an institutionalized religion into its own system and put them into religious practice. However, quiet a religious studies are academically partial because they separate the institutionalized religion from folk religion under the same temporal and spatial dimensions and cannot explain the plurality of human religions.
