时、体意义的表达存在于所有语言，虽然其表达形式在具体语言中各有不同，但其表达的需要和语法意义本身具有超越语言个性特征的逻辑基础。因此，在广义范畴观的基础上，我们认为时、体范畴并不是有形态变化的语言所特有的。
英语语境:
Tense and Aspect used for expressing meaning exist in all languages. Though the form of tense and aspect may differ in specific languages, the need of these two expression devices and their grammatical meaning have a logic foundation that goes beyond the personalities of different languages. Therefore, on the basis of the generalized concept of category, we believe that, the categories of tense and aspect are not unique features of languages that have transformations.
