Although truth is the guide line of media ethic around the world, slight theoretic changes have occurred in recent years: the “truth” itself comprises more choice of values. There is always a question of “the truth to whom” or “who needs the truth” in news reports. Therefore, a perspective of subjectivity is needed in theories to combine the principles of fair truth and values.
