英语语境:
Social interactions between individual behaviors are popular issues in both sociology and social psychology, but has long been ignored in economics, which is famous for the research of individual choice. In modern economics, the rational choice theory is the dominant paradigm for individual choice research. But in recent two decades, the influence of social factors on individual behavior is attracting more and more attention from economic research, theoretically and empirically. This mutual effect between individuals in social environment is then named by economists as "social interaction".
