Zhao Zhiqian, the most important pioneer of the stele-study theory in the Qing Dynasty, combined the wildness of the northstele style, which is advocated greatly in Qing Dynasty, with the delicate of the tie study so as to create a style which is natural and lively. He not only created “weitikaishu” and “weitixingshu” which is full of his own outstanding, but also put the calligraphy into“zhuan shu”and“li shu”works. Many calligraphy masters are affected by this calligraphy font and the daily standard of the formation of the “new Wei Ti“ has become the most popular emerging calligraphy fonts since the twentieth Century.
