英语语境:
People tend to explore information anxiously from the media when they are in the lack of security, facing abnormal environment and experiencing major personal events. In order to reduce uncertainty and increase security, the audience often seek information from the media urgently. Scholars divided information exploration behaviors into three major motivations: instrumental motive, ego-based motive and image-based motive.
