山东师范大学图书馆所藏清同治十年（1871）抄本《碧筠斋古本北西厢》，有学者于《文献》撰文认为是久已失传的明代嘉靖癸卯（1543）碧筠斋刊本《西厢记》。今据明人王骥德《新校注古本西厢记》中有关碧筠斋古本的校勘及说明，验之同治抄本，可知同治抄本《碧筠斋古本北西厢》并非明代碧筠斋本《西厢记》，实乃赝本。

Shandong Normal University Library preserves a codex of Biyunzhai Old Versions of The West Chamber dating back to the tenth year of the Tongzhi reign (1871) of Qing Dynasty. In an article published in WENXIAN magazine, some researchers believed that it was The West Chamber published by Biyunzhai in Ming Jiajing Period (1543) which had been lost for a long time. However, according to the collation and explanation about Biyunzhai Old Versions in New Collating and Annotating Old Versions of The West Chamber written by Wang Jide in the Ming Dynasty, the Tongzhi codex is examined and proved to be a spurious edition rather than the real Biyunzhai version of The West Chamber.
