The application of big data can enrich the content of knowledge. Meanwhile, some barriers manifest themselves during the process. It is therefore necessary to acquire knowledge by the cleaning of big data. According to the advantageous characteristics of big data, knowledge service needs an updating of its definition and also meets higher requirements. Specifically, the value of the data in use is to be improved to a higher level and the sophisticated associations between data are to be realized. To realize these requirements, the basis is the data quality, which could be improved by data cleaning. Besides, the zero-tolerance policy in the cleaning of data is not encouraged, for the purpose of the synchronous improvement of knowledge service quality and efficiency.
