Country Report on the Action Plan on Adult Learning: Denmark ( March 2011) was represented on behalf of the European Commission, in which five priorities of the action plan on adult learning were put forwards. It demands to make sure the effects of reforms on adult learning, improve the quality of provision and staffing, increase the level of adult education, speed up the process of assessing and recognizing non-formal and informal learning for disadvantaged groups, and improve the monitoring of the adult learning sector. The aims were to make Denmark face the pressure of competition brought by economic crisis and globalization. It targeted adult in order to improve their employability and quality of life.
