Electronic dictionaries are more and more popular in China. But behind the flourishing market there are some serious quality problems. This paper first compares the differences between electronic dictionary making and printed dictionary making. Some problems that are frequently found in electronic dictionaries are then listed, and finally I propose a solution to ideal electronic dictionary making.
