独生子女教育问题，一直是社会关注的焦点问题，也是近年来专家学者研究的热点问题。我国的教育学界与心理学界围绕独生子女的个性品质进行了多项调查研究，最后的调查结果显示，在独生子女成长的过程中，出现了独立生活能力差、自我为中心心理强、道德素质差等问题，这些问题随着独生子女的曰益成长，显得越来越突出。但是大多数独生子女的父母，继续沿用传统的教育方式对孩子进行教育。作为家庭教育的补充，学校教育没有及时修正家庭教育中存在的不足，当独生子女走出校门进入社会以后，社会适应能力差、拜金主义与享乐主义思想严重，独生子女身上表现出来的缺点极大地挑战整个社会的容忍度。

The problem of education for only-child, has been the focus of social concern, also a hot issue for research in recent years. Many investigations and studies about the only-child's personality have been carried out in China's education and psychology circles, the results of which showed, in child growing process, problems concerning the independent living ability, ego psychology, moral quality and so on arised, and with the one-child growing up, becoming more and more outstanding. But the majority of the one-child parents, continue to use the traditional way of education. What's more, school education, as a supplement to family education, failed to timely correct deficiencies in the family education. When only-children finished school and entered into society, their social adaptation ability was poor, worshiping money and hedonistic, all these shortcomings demonstrated by one-children greatly challenge the whole society.
