After DIT measurement, subjects who came from eighth-grades of a common middle-school were classified into high-level moral judgment group and low-level moral judgment group and forty students were selected from each group, in each group half being male, the other half female to form two classes. Two weeks later, empathy-evoking operation was administered only in the experimental class and several minutes later, all the subjects were provided with an opportunity to help an old lonely woman, in order to measure children's prosocial behavior. The results showed that there is an interaction between children's moral judgment and empathy.
