The lack of the education of female traditional morality, and the reasons of some social problems, such as, worsen behaviors of children, the deteriorated relationship between wife and husband, which are caused by the change of social roles for women are analyzed. It is considered that, comprehensive female education today should be carried out, which including morality, eloquence, aesthetics, and skills, based on drawing the essence of traditional Four Proverbs on Female Virtues. It is put forward that the typical explanations of fidelity, propriety in speech, physical charm and efficiency in needlework in Ban Zhao's Lessons for Women still have modern values.
