英语语境:
Hebei province, also called Zhili in Qing Dynasty, was proved to be one of the biggest provinces in the Imperial Examination. Its provincial test has several characteristics: First, it shared the same Examination Office with the national metropolitan examination, and it was even inspected by the emperor himself; Secondly, the candidates had far exceeded the limit of qualifications that just came from Zhili. It also attracted the students in the Imperial Academy. Thirdly, the examiners always had higher qualifications than any other provinces.
