In his early years, Qian Mu was a Chinese teacher in Wuxi, Jiangsu Provincial Third Normal School. Some scholars had begun to question the inaccurate records of the events he described in the book Teachers and Friends, which he wrote in his later years. By collecting and researching Qian Mu's reminiscences, works and other files, this article points out that there are at least eight mistakes in the seventh chapter due to the lack of clear expressions, and some basic wrong ideas as well.
