中国关于动机的研究由最初介绍国外理论和研究成果转变为对本国学习者进行的个案研究和调查。研究对象多为普通高校的英语专业或非英语专业学生，很少有对海军院校学生进行的学习动机研究。在我国的高等教育体系中，海军院校有其特殊的状况。它有自己的教育模式，独特的教育体系体现在基础课、职业知识和职业技能方面。因此，有必要在海军院校中开展学习动机研究。

英语语境:

The study of motivation in China focused, in the beginning, on the introduction of foreign theories or researches, and then transferred to case studies and investigations under our Chinese academic situation. The subjects of the most of the researches are English major or non-English major students in ordinary colleges and universities. However, little research has been done to study the English learning motivation of students in naval academies. Among different kinds of colleges in our country, the naval academies stand a unique place in the educational system of our country, which possesses its own systematic mode of students'cultivation; the unique education systems are concerned with basic courses, professional knowledge and professional skills. Since there is little motivation research discussing the situation in naval academies, it's necessary to carry out this study.
