Quyi is a kind of talking-singing music, with a long history and rich-colorful.It is an important sort in Chinese traditional music. This paper discusses that the talking-singing music gradually comprises six kinds in agelong diffusion: the labelled tunes, drum tunes, tanci (story telling), daoqing yugu (bamboo percussion and folk tales), qinshu (ballad singing), the local tunes. It was significant factors for the diffusion of the talking-singing music that artist went on a tour performance and emigration, that help the Quyi music pervail, spreading to the different areas of China .
