The friction coefficient, roughness and the maximum instantaneous heat transfer of short-season cotton denim were tested by KES fabric handle tester in the paper, and the contact comfort was compared with the same specification of upland cotton denim. The results show that the short-season cotton denim is slightly thick, rough, and waxy, with less elastic recovery rate and large compression power.The instantaneous transfer heat of the upland cotton denim is more than that of short-season cotton denim.
