Imperialism advocates Confucianism-oriented enlightenment policy, leading to the increase of imperial college students who thoroughly understand the past; but at the same time, the power of eunuchs are fostered to enter the bureaucratic stratum to contend against the power of consorts and the literati. The two efforts of the imperial power result in the confliction between each other so that the way for scholar students to flow upforward is hindered. Because the imperial power couldn't solve the problem of retirement system effectively, the centrifugal tendency of scholar students is triggered.
