今人利用石经文字校正史书错讹，本是出土文献与传世文献合证之有效方法，但若轻信转抄，不核实原文，反致弄巧成拙。《辞通》引用石经《鲁诗》文字已造成错讹，后人不去校核《隶释》原文，即引之作为自己的论据，来校正说明《宋书》讹字，无端造成一个似是而非的通假新说。

英语语境:

The contemporary scholars revised the historical books according to the scriptures on rocks. This is an effective way to use the unearthed literature with literature handed down from ancient times, but it will be self-defeating if we are too credulous about these copies without checking the original texts. The later scholars quoted the original text of Li Shi without verification in Ci Tong and Lu Shi to correct the wrong words in Song Shu, which resulted in a specious theory of interchangeable words for no reason.
