“长律”的概念内涵不是单一的指称“排律”，“排律”的概念使用较晚，这是诗体发展的特殊现象。实际上，如果考察从唐至明的文献，就会发现“律诗”的定义唐宋诗话中也很少见。在这种情况下，应该转换视角，比如注意诗人的分体意识及创作实践，因为诗人在诗歌创作上理解与运用的概念，虽然从例证来看构不成完整的系统轨迹，但把所有诗人使用的相关概念综合链接起来，就可以判断其所指，看出它的内涵及其演变轨迹。“排律”诗体产生于唐代，但“排律”名称却形成于元代，元代杨士弘提出“排律”概念，明代诗人迅速接受，随后排律创作在明代繁盛起来。

The so called “Long Lv Poems” are not only confined as “Pai Lv” because the concept of “Pai Lv” was adopted very late, which is a special phenomenon in history of poem styles. However, if we study the documents from Tang to Ming Dynasties, we'll find that the definitions of “Lv Shi” are rare in comments on poems in Tang and Song. So we should switch the views to the acknowledgement of poem forms and the practical writings, because though the concepts grasped and used by the poets cannot make a complete systematic trail, we can still tell the meaning and the historical traces of it after connecting all the concerned concepts used by poets. The form of “Pai Lv” was born in Tang Dynasty but the idiom came out in Yuan Dynasty. Yang Shi Hong posed out the concept of “Pai Lv” first and was accepted by poets in Ming Dynasty. After that, Pai Lv writing became prosperous in Ming Dynasty. To disclose the phenomenon better, we will make a good study of the documents on “Long Lv Shi” and “Pai Lv” in poems in Yuan and Ming Dynasties.
