语文教学作为文化传承的一个重要载体，在漫长的教育体制改革中，依旧难逃应试的命运，这使得学校、老师只忙于应付考试，而忽略了学生的真正情感需求，即对知识的主动汲取。与此同时，教学也未能发挥其社会助长的作用。立足于高中语文的教学实际，浅谈老师“揠苗助长”与学生“自然成长”间的有效取舍与衔接，让学生走上自主学习之路

Despite the role as an important carrier of cultural inheritance, Chinese language teaching could not escape from the exam-oriented fate in the long educational system reform. Consequently, schools and teachers would only concetrate on exams, thus ignoring students's real emotional needs, namely the voluntary acquisition of knowledge. Meanwhile, the teaching does not fulfil the function of social facilitation. On the basis of the Chinese language teaching practice in high school, it is worth a discussion about how teachers should choose and connect between "forcefully pulling students upward " and "letting students grow naturally" so as to lead them to the path of independent learning.
