汉语语境:

束发椎髻不是岭南越族之俗，最早盛行这种风俗的是中原地区华夏族的先民。岭南越族的发式有断发和被发两种，自商周以降，由于中原华夏文化的南传，束发椎髻也流行于岭南。秦汉以后，随着汉字化的传播，束发椎髻被更多地区和民族所接受，而且盛行于各国各地。

英语语境:

Shu Fa was not the custom of Yue Nationality of Lingnan, but originally the custom of Huaxia ancestors in Central Plains region. Yue Nationality of Lingnan had two hair styles- cropped hair and scattered hair. Since the Shang and Zhou dynasties, with the southward spread of Huaxia culture, Shu Fa became popular in South China. After Qin and Han dynasties, with the spread of Chinese characters, Shu Fa was accepted in more regions and by more ethnic groups, gaining popularity all over the countries.
