英语语境:
In the ancient and modern Chinese language there are many words to express the meaning of "teacher", such as "shi fu"(master), "xian sheng"(gentleman), "bo shi"(doctor)", "jiao shou"(professor), "jiang shi"(instructor), "xixi"(family tutor) and so on. However, the formation of the modern Chinese term "jiao shi"(teacher) emerged quite late. It has gone through a long developmental course.
