The knowledge structure of the latter can be described as the combination of ”subject-involved knowledge, conditional knowledge, practical knowledge and general cultural knowledge.” Research and training teachers'knowledge structure can also be described as these four components, but it has its own characteristics, which are determined both by their own professional development needs and their roles as participants, promoters, helpers and guides in primary and secondary school teachers'professional development.
